IN-HOME BIRTHDAY PARTIES
What type of Birthday Parties for children do you offer?
We currently offer Canvas Painting Parties for ages 5 and up.
What locations do you travel to for Private Artsi Parties?
Our primary service area is Morris County, NJ. A $25 travel fee applies for parties in Sussex, Warren, Somerset, Essex, Hunterdon, Union.
Who is my party instructor?
Sharon Calle, owner of Artsi Studio is a certified K-12 art teacher and BFA artist who currently leads all birthday parties. Her students call her "Mrs. C." As Artsi Studio expands, our staff will grow to include additional qualified instructors.
Should I plan an indoor or outdoor party?
You may plan your event outdoors, however in the event of inclement weather a suitable indoor location must be available. We have led parties in kitchens, dining rooms, garages, or in the backyard (porch/patio/lawn). You provide tables, chairs, and tablecloths. We bring the demo table and all art materials and supplies.
May I host my party a venue outside my home?
Rental space is available (additional cost) at Brookside Community Club in Mendham Township. You may also choose a venue local to your area.
What is the minimum/maximum number of children for a Private Party?
The minimum charge for a private party is currently $495 for up to 12 children.* This includes materials and supplies. Our maximum for a children's birthday is 20 children (This is flexible if your headcount should go over by a few.)
*If you are unsure of your headcount, you may book the minimum (12) and add more guests later. Your final headcount is due 5 days before your party.
How much time will the party project take?
The canvas painting will take approximately one hour.
Do you have paintings I can choose from?
View our canvas paintings options here. You may enter your painting selection during booking.* A custom painting is available for an additional fee of $50.
*If you are undecided when you book, you may let us know your painting choice at least one week before your party.
What should I expect for a Canvas Painting Party?
The 12x16" canvases are traced with your chosen design in pencil. Children are led through the painting step-by-step by the instructor. We make sure your party guests have a blast adding fun and unique details to their artwork! Different boy/girl paint colors are available upon request.

Should I encourage parents to drop-off or should they stay for the party?
For private parties, you decide what works best for your group. Based on our experience leading hundreds of parties for children, we encourage drop-offs for ages 5 and up whenever possible.
How do I prepare for my party?
Set up tables and chairs and cover tables with tablecloths (We recommend disposable plastic).
For canvas painting view our sample party setup. Chairs are optional for painting parties.
If your party is held indoors, you may choose to cover the floors. Acrylic paint may stain surfaces.
How far in advance should I book my party?
We recommend at booking 4-5 weeks in advance to reserve your date. A $75 date change fee is applied to request a new party date.
How do I check availability and book my party?
Summer 2022 is now fully booked. Join the Waitlist for Fall 2022 and we will contact you when we reopen bookings. You will be able to reserve your party date with a non-refundable deposit.
